Answers

Q: What is Orykta™
A: Orykta™ is a mined composite mix comprised of a rich blend of micro and macro mineral elements, intrinsically buffered for easy assimilation by both plants and animals - and it is naturally free of heavy metals and toxic substances. While it is used effectively in plant and animal production, both as nutrient supplement consumed directly and as a soil reclaiming agent, Orykta™ has additional applications in aquaculture and in producing pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It is the product of prehistoric volcanic activity and is known to be found only at one mine site in the Walker River Valley of Nevada near the Sierras. The deposits are uniform throughout, meaning Orykta™ can be mined and prepared as a product cost effectively. Nothing is added to the finished Orykta™ product - it comes out of the ground in near perfect form. While other mineral-rich volcanic substances do exist and are used in agriculture, no other product is known to occur naturally that has the superb qualities in form and content as that of Orykta™.

Q: How is Orykta™ produced?
A: Orykta™ was produced by Mother Nature. PMMR prepares it for consumption by first mining it from the deposit site, then crumbling it to a uniform grain size and drying it to a water-moisture content of no more than 5%. It is then packaged and shipped.

Q: How is Orykta™ used?
A: It is used to date primarily as a mineral/nutrient supplement in agricultural and animal production regimes.

In agriculture regimes it can be applied alone to reclaim nutrient-depleted soils, applied in combination with NPK fertilizers to enhance nutrient uptake by plants and to increase the efficiency of other fertilizers, or mixed with blended fertilizers to create a unique soil supplement product.

In animal production it can be applied directly to feed blends to increase the efficiency of the feed, fed directly to animals increase the weight and per-pound nutritional value of the animal, and used to increase the production of feed products and as a grasslands conditioner.

Q: Have scientific studies been performed to document the claims made about Orykta™?
A: Yes. University and commercial studies have been conducted which show the significant value of Orykta™.

Q: How much will it cost to add Orykta™ to my agricultural program?
A: Since Orykta™ increases product soil and animal health, plus provides near 100% nutrient availability to plants and animals (thereby decreasing the need for traditional supplements) growers will see a reduction of costs and an increase in product yields (profit) when using Orykta™.

Q: How is Orykta™ packaged?
A: Orykta™ is available by the ton in bulk, free-flowing form, or packaged in SuperSac® one ton bags, or 50 lbs (22.4 kg) bags.

Q: Since Orykta™ comes from Nevada, where nuclear testing has been performed in the past, is it radioactive?
A: No. The Orykta™ mines are located nowhere near where nuclear testing was performed. And PMMR has had radioactivity tests performed on Orykta™ by the Radiation Science and Engineering Center, Pennsylvania State University, which confirm that Orykta™ is free from any fall-out contamination. The radioactivity that is present in Orykta™ is the natural kind found in most all soils. By "natural kind" we mean the natural decay of isotopes found in most soils worldwide. There is absolutely no health hazard in Orykta™ from radioactivity.

Q: Since Orykta™ is a mined product, does it contain toxic heavy metals such as arsenic or lead?
A: Orykta™ is non-toxic. Atomic Absorption Analysis shows that no heavy metals are present in any significant amount; for example, arsenic was measured at 6 ppm (parts per million) and lead was measured at 10 ppm. These levels are considered so small as to be virtually non-existent and are certainly not a health hazard.

Q: How much Orykta™ will I need and how do I apply it?
A: Orykta™ can be applied in practically any fashion that is consistent with your current supplemental application regime; that is, for agriculture production it can be pre-mixed, broadcast alone, or applied as a plug. For feed, it can be feed directly to the animal, mixed with vitamins in the pre-mix, or molded into feed pellets.

For agriculture, the amount of Orykta™ needed actually is determined by the health of your soil. Generally if your soil has a high pH, you definitely should be using Orykta™. If your pH levels and Cation Exchange Capacity CEC levels are already optimal, less Orykta™ is needed. Good rules of thumb are 1 to 1.5 tons per acre (2 to 2.5 tons per hectare) for agriculture use and approximately 2% of an animal's feed intake for animal production.

Q: How does Orykta™ compare to other products?
A: Superbly! We believe no other product exists that can accomplish so much for so little with the added benefit of being environmentally friendly. But don't just take our word, the real proof comes when you see for yourself how it performs for you.
